On April 18, 2025, about 300 people gathered around the Warsaw Ghetto memorial in Riverside Park, Manhattan, to honor the memory of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. This year’s annual event highlighted the women’s heroic role in the resistance (some of them were very young girls) and included Yiddish poetry recitations with performances of Yiddish Holocaust songs.
